Can I register at the event?
Yes. You can register at the door.

Do I need a partner to come to Swingin' New England?
No. With more than 600 attendees, you'll find plenty of people to dance with at Swingin' New England.

Can I sit with my friends at a table?
Of course! Swingin' New England will gladly group you and nine of your friends at a table. Details on how to arrange your table are here.

How much does Swingin' New Englad cost?
The whole weekend pass to Swingin' New England costs $120 for a weekend pass if you sign up by October 10. It's $140 after October 10. That's one of the cheapest prices around, the same price as last year, and an incredible value! Passes for a single day or night are available. Can I come for one day or one night only?

By when do I need to send in my payment to enjoy the early registration price?
Your registration must be postmarked by October 10, 2008. If you registration form and payment has a postmark of October 11 or later, you can still sign up for the event but you would not receive the early registration discount.

Workshops

Are the workshops free?
All workshops are included in the purchase price of your entry pass. Swingin' New England does not offer "special" workshops that require additional money above and beyond your entry pass.

How many workshops can I take?
You can take as many workshops as you like. Have fun!

Do you have a beginner workshops?
Yes. Swingin' New England offers plenty of beginner workshops. Check out the workshop schedule here.

Contests

What is "Bookends"?
Bookends is a dance contest where men dance with men and women dance with women. There are no other rules. This contest is a yearly favorite at Swingin' New England and a lot of people come to the event just to see what happens here. See some examples of past entries here.

Do I need to buy a weekend pass to compete?
Yes. You must purchase a weekend pass to Swingin' New England to compete

Are there prizes?
Yes! Every division has a prize of some sort. Check the individual contest detail pages to find the specific prize for your specific contest.
